What You Can Expect in Europe

In the middle of the crowded street in Europe, not in a sense of paranoia, but I thought I was being watched by someone just like Mr. Waldo in the book. Just like from the nostalgic memory from “Where’s Waldo?” I promoted the idea of fairytale-like scenery and liveliness that I have witnessed from my travel back.

Although the countries were adjacent to one another, each of them differed in certain ways. General mood, philosophy of people, energy, and culture were distinct. In order to connect them into one artform that contains my footprints from backpacking, I picked different colors for each country and integrated into one form of a graphic belt. The belt resembles curiousness and excitement about the unseen world from a child’s perspective.
