To mark the launch of the latest Nike Air VaporMax in Korea, W+K JP created a series of visual content celebrating female Korean athletes as badass, heroic goddesses, confidently owning their power through sport. Recently in Korean society, women have been stepping up and taking their power in a traditionally male-dominated culture. W+K JP wanted to celebrate this movement. Each poster introduces a different athlete and shows off their specific style of strength as they play confidently in artfully deconstructed and reimagined versions of Seoul. The striking visuals were rolled out across social channels and shared by each athlete to their communities. We also took over an iconic 100-meter long digital board with our looping visuals in a high-traffic subway station in Seoul.
My role as a graphic designer mainly included Korean typography layout, creating poster concepts and building a lockup logo design.
